Pioneer Trails Merit Badge Pow-wow
It's Merit Badge Pow-wow time in the Pioneer Trails District. On Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 7:30 am - 1:30 pm, and again on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 7:30 am - 1:30 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Highlands Ranch Stake, 9800B Foothills Canyon Blvd., Highland Ranch, CO.
This is a two-day Merit Badge Pow-wow. Scouts are expected to attend both days and complete projects in between. Please check your calendar ahead of time as we will not refund those who cannot make it on the second day. Those who attend and complete the pre-requisities and any assignments between sessions will be signed-off on April 19.
Scouts are limited to one Eagle-required merit badge course.
Scouts must bring a signed card for each merit badge they are taking. All personal information and the merit badge name should be filled in and both unit leader signature spaces must be signed. Please remind your Scouts that these are the equivalent of cash. The office cannot replace them if they are lost. Lost Blue Cards become the responsibility of the Scout to prove that they know the material and they will need to contact a Merit Badge Counselor to have another Blue Card signed.
Lunch will not be served, however the Order of the Arrow will operate a snack table throughout Merit Badge Pow-wow.
Field uniform should be worn.
Receipt for the college must be brought with you. If you do not receive an email receipt, you are not registered.
Please folks, there will be no walk-in registrations.
Class list and availability
If you put your credit card in more than once and pay more than once you have done something wrong. We are no longer going to refund people that register a Scout several times. You only need to signup for a class once. For example, if you see Environmental Science A and register for it then you do not need to signup for Environmental Science B or so forth. The class is being offered in one period. If the class needs to be a longer class then it is longer based on the time frame. If you need assistance with a registration, please contact JoLynne in the Scout office at 720.266.2135.
Are you interested in helping fellow Scouters by making sure communication flows? Are you interested in helping make sure Scout units are meeting and doing things timely? Do you want to be able to give feedback to a unit so that it provides a quality program? Then being a Unit Commissioner may interest you. For further information, please contact Elden Hodson, Pioneer Trails District Commissioner.
