Calling all Scouts for an afternoon learning first-aid with South Metro Fire's First Responders!

Have you ever been curious what being a firefighter is like? Those who participate can talk to the firefighters about their jobs and learn basic first-aid skills to move toward your Tiger, Wolf, Bear or Webelos badge.

Open to Arapahoe, Timberline, Centennial, and Pioneer Trails Districts. Stations include: How to Get Help from 911, Talk to Someone who Treats Injured Persons, Basic First-Aid Kit, Cleaning Minor Injuries, Preventing/Treating Outdoor Injuries (Bee Stings), Types of Shock, and Weather Injuries (Hypo- and Hyperthermia).

Please bring a water bottle with you!

The cost is $5 per Scouts to cover First-Aid Kits (4 bandaids, 2 4x4 gauze pads, 2 alcohol wipes, 2 pair non-latex gloves, zip-lock bag) and free for adults. Please plan on having one adult for every three Scouts.

Everyone must sign a liability waiver prior to the event.

If you have questions, please contact Kim
