Spring Join Nights

It is that time of the year again. The days are getting longer, the birds are singing, and hundreds of Kindergarteners have been waiting ALL year to join Cub Scouts! All traditional packs are expected to hold at least one 'Join Cub Scouts' activity in the months of March - May. Tell us your plans here, if you need any help with your presentation to new Cubs, and how many flyers you need for your school.  If you need materials or additional ideas you may also visit the Join Night Training page or contact Leanne Grubb, the District Join Night Chair.

Scout Show

Sign up to sell Scout Show Cards or do a Booth. This great event is attended by 16,000 Scouters annually and is hands down one of the best family fun filled events you can go to on April 28th. Plan to attend this years show! Sign up or learn more by going to the Scout Show webpage.

Cub Scout Day Camp

Train-A-Palooza

Training for all leaders will be offered on April 21st.  Please sign up now to attend this training. This training is for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity, and Venturing and all adult positions in those units. Register Now!

2012 Pioneer Trails Merit Badge College

It's Merit Badge College time in the Pioneer Trails District. On Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Scouts from all over the nation will come together for this college. With over 50 merit badges being offered this year, Scouts are able to choose up to 4 badges to complete.

Cost is $10. Lunch of pizza, fruit and soda will be provided. Field uniform should be worn.

A receipt must be brought with you. If you do not get an email receipt, you are not registered.

You must bring a Blue Card with the Scoutmaster's pre-approval signature for each merit badge. If you do not have one, you will receive a NCR form showing participation.

Registration will open at midnight on February 2, 2012.

Please folks, there will be no walk-in registrations with this event.

Merit Badge College will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Highlands Ranch Stake at 9800 Foothills Canyon Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.

Are you interested in helping fellow Scouters by making sure communication flows?  Are you interested in helping make sure Scout units are meeting and doing things timely?  Do you want to be able to give feedback to a unit so that it provides a quality program?  Then being a Unit Commissioner may interest you.  For further information please contact Don Booher, Pioneer Trails District Commissioner. 

Varsity / Venturing Roundtable

Roundtable will host a Varsity / Venturing Roundtable. It is open to all those that want to attend. Plan to start in the Boy Scout Roundtable Room and then break away.
